Lullabies

I am starting to hate Brahms. I thought his Hungarian Rhapsody was a somewhat average piece. I was wrong. Dead wrong. I've been practicing the first two pages for two weeks and so far, no material improvement. I should have chosen Leybach's Nocturne instead. Too late to change now. My teacher and I were excited at first to nail that piece. Now, she's excited, I'm frustrated.

Finally, we finished our report in BA 164 (Negotiable Instruments Law, Insurance Law). Tanggal ang isang tinik sa lalamunan. It seems that our professor is not that interested in our report. I think he opts to discuss GMA's SONA and his law school adventures with us. We were supposed to have a quiz but we overruled him. The power of saying "NO".

Two cases to go this week. I am multi-tasking again. I am blogging and also doing my part for Marketing. At TAJA pa pala bukas. I have to be in school by 8:30am. Rawr.

TAJA= Total Approach to JOb Application. An event by UP Career Assistance Program CBA-SE

Due to blogging, my "leisure online time", has doubled. Before, I used to check Friendster, email et al under 30 minutes. Now, my online leisure time is more than an hour. Blogsurfing can really take time, and blogging, takes even more time. I find myself staring at Blogger's compose page for quite some time. Ah, fruitless internet hours.

Majors and Minors

Maroons Winning Streak. Hoorah! Hoorah! 3-0. Finally, I could really cheer for the Maroons. They are real contenders this time. Though we owe those points to the ex-DLSU players. Nyehehe.

UP vs. UST. 69-66
UP vs. DLSU. 61-56
UP vs. NU. 81-59

Maybe its time to purchase a UP Jacket. In my five years in the university, I have never watched a game LIVE. Hopefully, time and opportunity will allow me to watch one game this season. The championship maybe? ^_^

Pinoy Blonde. A funny, pointless movie. For Php80, I didn't get my money's worth. It was worse than Madagascar's plot. Cool soundtrack though. And good animation. Read Fuyu's review on this.

TaraRun. My dad and I ran in my org's Fund Run Project: JPIA's TaraRun, Year 3. The 6Km category. Of course, we didn't win. It felt good running in UP's grounds again. I told him that we should join the 12Km category next year. Hehehehe. Time to train for that. I think it was a super revenue generator judging from the number of participants. However, JPIA had to outsource some marshalls since the sophies and juniors had their exams (Sunday is exam day in BA -_-). I felt kinda guilty since I was running instead of helping out. But, it was my dad's idea to run. And I was excited to participate too. ^_^

We were just finishing our first round while the 21Km runners were already in their third round. And there was this young girl (I think as young as my youngest sister), who ran in the 12Km category. Amazing.

It's still July. It's only July. I had my internship just 2 months ago, and it feels like that happened a long looooong time ago. Time is passing slowly. Good. I'm going to be 20 for a little while longer...

Broken Chords

It's been a while since my last post. No, I'm not busy. I'm just wondering what to post that would be worth your reading time. No accounting jargon. No stop-and-smell-the-roses ponderings. No acads stuff.

So what shall I tell you?

I'm sick. This is the third day (and hopefully the last) that my body is invaded by viruses.
Been watching some shows on MTV. I'm amused with Meet the Barkers (Fridays at 8:30). Travis and Shanna. They are an unusual couple. Sweet, affectionate, loving, and unusual. Hehehehe. Also watched 'Til Death Do Us Part -just the gothic wedding episode. The bridesmaids' black dresses are ...amusingly cool. :D

Beat my record in Bookworm! Longest Word: Accounted (mere coincidence). Top Action Score: 3,940,730. My sister got the Top Classic Score: 1,351,020.

Wishing ZYRA a Happy Happy Birthday! 21 ka na! ATE! :D

Cheers to the new bloggers! Welcome to the blogging world! I guess we all had the same apprehensions about blogging at first. But we're all here in the blogging world now! Yeay!
